The pyramids were built by thousands of skilled workers who cut and moved massive stone blocks weighing up to 2.5 tons each. They used ramps, levers, and rollers to move the blocks into place. The Great Pyramid of Giza took about 20 years to build and contains over 2 million stone blocks!

King Tutankhamun, called King Tut, was an Egyptian pharaoh who became king at just 9 years old around 1332 BC. He died at age 19 and was buried in a golden tomb. His tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter and was filled with over 5,000 treasures, including his famous golden death mask.
